Screen One Series

Discover extraordinary films all through the year.

2024 is our 29th year for this popular monthly film series, which provides an enhanced opportunity for local audiences to see the finest Canadian, Independent and World cinema on offer. Screenings for the winter/spring season will be on the first Wednesday from February through April. Fall dates are yet to be confirmed.

Tickets: $10. These are in-person screenings at Galaxy Cinemas located in the south end of Barrie at 72 Commerce Park Drive. Tickets are available in advance online through the “Buy Tickets” link, or in-person the day of screening. We are no longer reserved seating so all screenings are General Admission. Box office opens one hour before showtime. Tickets are not sold through Galaxy Cinemas’s box office.
