DESCRIPTION:Arrive early for the Barrie Fire & Emergency’s HOT SUMMER NIGHTS pre-show event! \n \nSing\nWednesday\, August 23 (RD Aug 24)\, Centennial Beach\nFilm starts at dusk (approx. 8:30pm)\n Pre-show activities start at 5:30pm\nRated G – Cartoon animated action\, 108 min. \nDapper Koala Buster Moon presides over a once-grand theater that has fallen on hard times. An eternal optimist\, and a bit of a scoundrel\, he loves his theater above all and will do anything to preserve it. Facing the crumbling of his life’s ambition\, he takes one final chance to restore his fading jewel to its former glory by producing the world’s greatest singing competition. Five contestants emerge: a mouse\, a timid elephant\, a pig\, a gorilla and a punk-rock porcupine. \n  \nCome early as the Barrie Firefighters will have their HOT SUMMER NIGHTS activities prior to the movie!\n• Attending partners will be Domino’s\, KOOL FM\, Georgian College\, Wendy’s\, Simcoe District Health Unit\, Parks and Rec\, Red Cross and Northern Kettlecorn \n• The Barrie Fire and Emergency Service will be onsite with their fire trucks\, fire safety wheel and bouncy fire truck \n• Lawrence Vindum from The Butcher Shop will be providing barbecued hot dogs \n• Simcoe Muskoka Tobacco Free team will be providing some great interactive activities for families \n  \n\nSponsored by: \n\nBarrie Fire & Emergency Service and\nBarrie Firefighter Community Projects \n
