Documentary, Rated 14A, 105 minutes (USA), 2015

Ben Masters, a young Texas horseman, set out to inspire adoptions for 50,000 wild horses and burros living in government captivity. He gathered three friends and hatched an outrageous plot to adopt, train and ride wild mustangs 3,000 miles from the Mexican border to Canada through the American West’s wildest terrain. The trip is an epic journey of self-discovery, iconic landscapes and tests the men’s strength, courage, endurance, and friendship. Their rescued horses are also challenged as they carry the riders through desert, canyons, and steep, rocky hillsides of the U.S.’s majestic public lands, including the Grand Canyon, Yellowstone and Glacier National Park. This film won the 2015 Audience Award, Hot Docs Canadian International Documentary Festival.
