Synopsis:
After 24 successful bombing runs, the battle-hardened crew of the B-17 Flying Fortress Memphis Belle has just one more mission to fly before they can return home. That real-life 25th mission – first chronicled in director William Wyler’s 1944 World War II documentary about a critical daylight raid into the heart of Germany – is spectacularly recreated in this nail-biting 1990 airborne adventure.
