In a last-ditch effort to save the boutique publishing house her father has left her, an ambitious young editor (Aubrey Plaza) goes on a book tour with a bitter, retired author (Michael Caine) who originally put the publishing house on the map decades ago.

Based on a true story about Dream Alliance an unlikely racehorse bred by small-town Welsh bartender Jan Vokes (Toni Colette) who convinces her neighbours to chip in their meager earnings to help raise Dream in the hopes he can compete with the racing elites.
