Guest Panelists
Jeff Monague:
Jeff Monague is a former Chief of the Beausoleil First Nation on Christian Island, former Director of Treaty Research with the Anishnabek (Union of Ontario Indians) and a Canadian Forces Veteran as well as an instructor of the Ojibwe Language for Georgian College. Jeff Monague is an avid musician, singer/songwriter and has written for tv and film productions. His music is available on iTunes, Amazon, YouTube Music, Spotify, and other streaming services.
Matthew Rutledge:
“My adopted name is Matthew H Rutledge. I was born in Red Lake, Ontario. My birth father is from Lac Seul First Nation and my mother is from Little Grand Rapids, Alberta. I am a 60’s scoop survivor and adopted out to Toronto and raised by my adopted parents since age 4. In my late 30’s I did a lot of healing work in my journey as an Anishnaabe man.”
